At the start of 2020 State of Entropy decided to pull themselves away from gigging to go into Tsunami Studios in Levin to record.

Before completing recording New Zealand locked down due to COVID 19 … fast forward 8 weeks and they were back in the studio to finish the album.

In June State of Entropy finally released their long anticipated debut album.

Taking their influence from the early days of the NWOBHM and hard rock with an unmistakable heavy blues sound that forces the most stoic person to tap their foot they have managed to capture the essence of the energetic live show on 'tape'.

This album takes the listener through a journey of partying hard, losing love, revenge and redemption.

Formed as Irn Blues in 2017 before changing their name in 2019 to State of Entropy (as no one could pronounce Irn).
